It is sometimes difficult to organize thoughts, ideas or articles when you don’t have access to tags or categories. Here I share with you several trickes I use.
Categorize articles maturity in a CMS like WordPress
In front of each draft title, I add “0. ” to “4. ” (the space is important) , to identify the maturity level of each draft. Then I can easily find them back via the internal articles search engine.
Categorize items in iOS Photos
It’s easy to create categories, but a very long manual workload to manipulate them by hand. You can then use your puzzles skills to solve this.
- In the Recent folder: go to Select and select them all by hand by dragging all of them at once
- Mark all selected items as Favorites
- In Favorites, select the item to categorize, then Menu … : Move to an album
When you’re lost with what has been categorized or not, open each album Select -> select all (by hand) or Select all, then Menu … : Unfavorite. All the remaining items in Favorites still need to be categorized
